Sonic raced across the battlefield, littered with dying freedom fighters and destroyed pieces of robots. Explosions shook the landscape, blowing up large sections of the battlefield. Gun fire was heard nearly everywhere, making the battle seem more like a shooting spree. Sonic didn't have much to worry about, his intense speed and continuous spin dashes made it nearly impossible to strike him with a bullet. He gripped a golden ring tightly in his hand, with it glowing brightly in response and forcing him to go into attack position, forming a super spin dash. He bashed into robots, squeezing through their tough armor, then ripping a hole into their chest and coming out the other end, an explosion following short after.

Fists punched viciously at the seemingly unbeatable army of robots that came in wave after wave. His punches grew more powerful as he impacted the ground, or shot one real good in a robot's face, knocking and smashing them against their brethren, crushing them. His head had sweat pouring downward, into his eyes and mouth. He wiped away the latest batch of sweat, and continued his ruthless assault, turning more legions of robots into nothing but scrap metal.

The entire battle field was beginning to sink, with the ongoing explosions filling large sections, it was hard to see any of the two armies fighting. Speedix looked out from a nearby window in the passenger room. The Fire Wing was getting closer to Robotroplis, as the city appeared in the distance. He felt the urge to help, the determination to end the crisis that seemed to be everywhere. He hesitated for a while, thinking hard and tapping with his foot impatiently as he thought. Still clueless, he glanced back outside the window again, using his sharp eye sight to see through the black smoke and light generating explosions. He could barely see the spin dashing of Sonic and punching of his father, Fists.

His thoughts finally struck, giving him an idea and ending his confusion. He stood up from his chair and walked near the door in the room. Everyone looked at him surprisingly, with Firon standing up, opening his mouth to speak. But, from looking into the red hedgehog's eyes, he knew what he was thinking. Firon sat back down and sighed, still staring, with everyone else wondering what was going on.

"Be careful out there," the gray hedgehog told him in a dark tone. Speedix grinned and gave a thumbs up.

"Don't worry, I'll help out the army while you guys go after Dr. Eggman...see ya," with that said, the door in front of him slid open, allowing the red hedgehog to enter the hallway that led to the jet plane's hatch door. He passed through, with the door sliding close behind him without a sound.

Speedix walked through the hallway with ease, ending up at the hatch door. He pressed a few buttons on the side wall, releasing the locks on the door. Soon, after a few seconds of waiting, the locks were unlocked, with the door slowly opening in response. Due to his impatience, he kicked the door and, without hesitation, jumped out of the hatch door, pressing a key with his flying hand to close the door as he fell to the surface below, one of his fists held in front of him, with the rest of the body dragging behind. He accelerated with extreme speed, going faster and faster the further he fell. He charged himself up with chaos energy, enveloping him in extreme power and strength, and glowing with a bright red glow.

It wasn't too long until he was inches away from the ground of the destroyed battlefield. Time froze as he flashed into the full power of his chaos energy, preparing his attack. Time began to thaw as he slowly dropped closer to the ground, his fist sparking several times as it made closer contact with the gravity.
Then, in the last seconds of falling, Speedix made contact with the ground.

A giant explosion formed from his hand, covering him and surrounding robot legions within. The explosion spread far and wide, further then any of the previous explosions. It's dome shape turned into a sphere as it can began to effect the ground underneath it. All the robots in the area, began to melt away, their metal pieces burning and exploding. Everything lit up, and became replaced with the light.

As the explosion stopped spreading out and faded into the air, dark smoke rose from the ashes of the crash site. The surviving freedom fighters, Sonic, and Fists all stepped near the edges of the hole created. They all barely saw a figure moving towards them in the smoke. They watched carefully as they saw the red hedgehog, Speedix, walk out of the smoke and into the clear, revealing his many burns and bruises. Sonic and Fists grinned in satisfaction, with the freedom fighters cheering for the same reason. Speedix smiled, looking at his father and friend. Fists opened his mouth to speak, but Speedix interrupted him.

"Nice way to get rid of armies, eh?" the red hedgehog said in childishness. Fists and Sonic laughed in response, with Speedix joining in. The freedom fighters just stood far apart from each other, looking at the destroyed battle field, a few laughing as well.

It wasn't too long until Sonic, Fists, and Speedix returned to their serious natures, with Speedix stepping to the edge of the crater, looking up. He saw the ruined and open wall that led into Robotroplis, and the Fire Wing heading towards the city at a faster speed then before. Sonic and Fists stepped up next to him in curiosity. Fists, with wonder in mind, spoke.

"What's the plan, son?" Speedix turned slightly and looked at him with one of his eyes, another one of his playful grins crawling on his face. His blue eyes shined with opportunity and fun, and lightened with determination. He spoke in a childish tone, with little darkness in it.

"To have some fun,"
