Two hedgehogs stood face to face across the destroyed ruins of the Freedom Fighter camp. The black hedgehog's red eyes glowed as he locked them onto his target, with the glowing gold hedgehog preparing to attack as he raised his fists slightly, charging them with his own energy. Although the dark hedgehog had no mouth, the golden one could tell he was smiling in twisted amusement.

Super Sonic locked into the eyes of his opponent, seeing the endless power of chaos energy and the merciless thoughts of death locked inside. Shadow Shade studied him, planning his attack like a mastermind. Super Sonic knew, that darkness mixed with high intelligence, made a deadly combination. He struck an attack pose, ready to charge forward. Shadow Shade struck a similar pose, with one hand behind his back.

The golden hedgehog charged, his fists raised higher, ready to do an overhead swing. The black hedgehog stood perfectly still, waiting, still planning. Just when Super Sonic was about to strike a deathly blow, Shadow Shade grabbed his arm, pushing it back towards the golden hedgehog's own face with shocking strength.

He took his other hand from his back, and struck the hedgehog in the stomach with deadly power, forcing Super Sonic to gasp and lose all his strength. Soon, Shadow Shade used the hedgehog's own fist to punch him in the face several times, then threw him into a nearby building. The golden hedgehog crashed, forcing the building to give way, and trap the hedgehog within a huge dust cloud and debris. The black hedgehog laughed in amusement.

"Pathetic...just plain pathetic. I could kill with the simple touch of a finger, you weakling..." the black hedgehog taunted, still laughing manically. Super Sonic, angered and hateful, got up quickly and zoomed out of the smoke and debris, holding his hands forward, with chaos energy charging into his hands.

"Chaos Spear!" the words triggered an energy spear that shpt otse;f out of Super Sonic's hands, the energy disappearing as the energy spear zoomed across the ruins of the camp, growing bigger through each split second. Shadow Shade raised his hand, pointing at the spear with his palm, charging energy at an extremely fast pace.

"Chaos Arrows!" with the words said, a splash of random sized energy arrowheads shot out of the dark hedgehog's outstretched hand, the energy not disappearing. The energy spear shot by Super Sonic, was beginning to fade as energy arrowheads stole its power, and charged towards the yellow hedgehog with full force. Super Sonic reacted with an equal fast pace, raising his arms and charging energy through them like power cells. He then reached out to the heavens and stared at the storm of ongoing chaos arrows.

"Chaos Shield!" he yelled out, shooting the energy out, keeping it contained, forming a half-sphere around him. The chaos arrows began striking the shield, vanishing into the shield's power, making it stronger. With the increased power, Super Sonic was beginning to widen his shield further. Soon, it was so wide, he struck Shadow Shade and knocked the black hedgehog into a burning building, collapsing it and burying him, covering any evidence with a huge, black smoke cloud. Super Sonic smiled, still keeping his shield up.

"Right back at ya..." he said in joy, but having his smile turned to a frown when he began to feel the dark hedgehog's presence. As soon as he deactivated his shield, a large piece of wood came crashing down from the sky. Super Sonic quickly knocked it back, turning his view towards the smoke cloud. Shadow Shade walked out of it, unharmed, with his fists glowing with red chaos energy in hate.

"I'll never be defeated...not by you, or anyone else...you weak, inferior piece of shit!" Shadow Shade screamed out, reaching out with his hands and shooting a gigantic spiral of chaos energy. Super Sonic was taken by surprise and consumed by the chaos attack, falling to the ground, burning. His yellow fur began to turn orange, then red, as the heat in the chaos attack increased to unbelievable height. As the power increased, the bigger the chaos attack's size grew, making the heat turn to fire as Super Sonic's skin began burning off of him. The yellow hedgehog raised one hand into the air, charging as much chaos energy he had left in his damaged form, into it.

"Chaos Drain!" he yelled out, falling to the ground but still succeeding. Soon, in a few seconds, Shadow Shade's energy began to fade, and the fire vanished. The dark hedgehog quickly shut off his attack to avoid letting his energy get drained, and saw the outcome of what happened to the super hedgehog. He grinned, and stepped forward until he towered over his weak and burnt opponent. Super Sonic looked up, seeing the black hedgehog's red eyes glow with victory.

"Well, one more blast should kill you...then I'll kill the rest of the weaklings on this planet...see ya," Shadow Shade told Super Sonic as he pointed a finger at him, charging it with energy. The golden hedgehog stared at the black hedgehog, trying his best to at least brace for impact when it came. But before anything happened, he saw a huge flash appear behind Shadow Shade, then an explosion that followed. The black hedgehog was taken by surprise and knocked into the ground. Super Sonic crawled out of the way as he saw a figure make its way across the camp.

An orange glowing, tall spiked and spined hedgehog stopped halfway near his target. His eyes glowed red, similar to Shadow Shade's own red color, but the orange hedgehog's red eye color was more lifeless and insane. The black hedgehog floated off the ground until he was upright, and looked at his new opponent.

"Well, I can certainly tell you're more stronger then the other hedgehog...but you're still just one of those pests that has to be killed," Shadow Shade grinned again, more evilly then before. The orange hedgehog curled his hands into fists, charging at a surprisingly fast rate with chaos energy. His face has an impression of a demon, with the feelings of both hatred and anger shown easily.

"I am Demonica...the most powerful being in the universe...either surrender yourself...or I'll kill you...bitch," the orange hedgehog said in a cold, dark voice, introducing himself. Shadow Shade wasn't scared by his words, and walked slowly up to the demonic hedgehog, holding his fists to his sides as he charged another attack.

"Very well, Demonica...if you want an early death, you got it!"
