Violet was sitting across the meeting table in her bunkhouse, with Fists the Echidna sitting on the other side. She had been called to a meeting on the whereabouts of Firon the Hedgehog. She looked weakly at Fists, as the old yellow echidna stared back at her, with a cold hard stare.

"I'm sure you know, since you're the only one who that gray hedgehog trusts, that you will tell me where he is, why he's going against our laws..." Violet stammered a bit, stalling for a short while trying to think. She jumped when she heard Fists smack his foot to the wooden floor, shaking the entire bunkhouse.

"He...went to attack Dr. Eggman...and he's going against the laws because he wants to get revenge on the evil dictator for the death of his parents and the death of a lot of others..." Violet looked away, knowing she had just abused Firon's trust. Fists didn't seem convinced as he made an irritated look.

"Where is he now?" Fists asked, keeping his eyes on Violet's every move. The purple hedgehog turned around weakly again, and answered with her head down in shame.

"He's at Dr. Eggman's base...probably heading back now..." Violet laid her head on the meeting table, her eyes closed and her hands over them. Fists began thinking to himself, and remembered that Sonic and Speedix had gone out to search for him. He grinned.

"Well then, we'll just have to banish him now won't we?" Fists said in a amused tone. Violet's head struck up, her eyes full of anger and fear, with droplets of tears falling out, and her hands turned to fists.

"You will never do that! Ever!" she yelled at him, smacking the table with powerful force. Fists simply laughed and smacked the table back, making it jut upward from Violet's side of the table and hit her in the chest. This hit Violet against the wall, making her drop to the ground. Fists walked over to her, picking her up off the ground with one of his fists, wielding the other back to prepare a deadly punch.

Just seconds before he attempted to punch her, a huge explosion shook the area, forcing Fists to drop a unconscious Violet to the floor.

"What in the world?" Fists ran outside the bunk house, smacking the door shut. Violet, with no one with her, struggled to her mission pack nearby, crawling there with one arm. She used her good arm to reach through the covers of her bed, and pulled out her mission pack. She reached inside it, and pulled out something, closing her mission pack up and getting up from the floor, walking slowly to the door of the bunk house.

Outside in the camp, buildings were burning and few mobians lay dead near the gate. A black hedgehog floated inside the camp, its hands glowing red through its black gloves. Fists and the red echidna, Knuckles, ran to the scene and saw the black hedgehog shooting at buildings and innocent mobians. along with fierce freedom fighters with red streams of energy. Blood and gore spread throughout more of the camp as the black hedgehog overcame the opposing forces.

"What the hell is that?" Fists asked out loud, turning to Knuckles. The red echidna had his fists raised in the air, ready to attack. He replied.

"I don't know, but I ain't gonna sit here and find out, come on!" Knuckles and Fists charged forward to attack the black hedgehog, their fists radiating with chaos energy and their own natural strength dwelling within their muscle.

Shadow Shade raised his hands and fired random shots of huge energy blasts and energy spears, destroying everything in his path. He floated above the dead bodies of those he had killed, and looked even darker as he decapitated a few mobians.

"What weaklings...too bad Firon can't enjoy this fun, there's so much to destroy, and so many to kill..." he said to himself, making sure the gray hedgehog trapped inside was hearing it. Shadow Shade then laughed manically in amusement, and continued his onslaught.

Fists and Knuckles stopped running right in Shadow Shade's path, making the black hedgehog irritated. But the irritation soon passed by as he reorganized the two of them.

"Ah yes, Fists and Knuckles, the two only echidnas ever known to exist...why do you two hate your lives so much?"

"What do you mean?" Knuckles asked in anger, performing an attack stance, with Fists doing the same.

"What I mean is, why do you hate your lives so much that you came all the way to me, just to end them," Shadow Shade explained, grinning.

"What?" Fists replied in a shocked voice, fearing that the black hedgehog was more powerful then he imagined. Shadow Shade sensed this and laughed evilly.

"Don't worry, I'll be happy to end your lives right now...Chaos Storm!" the black hedgehog flicked his wrist and fired a series of red energy arrows at Fists and Knuckles, who quickly dodged the attack. Huge explosions took place from impact of the energy arrows, the shock waves hitting Fists and Knuckles into nearby buildings.

Shadow Shade lowered himself to the ground, focusing his power throughout the entire camp. The two echidnas quickly regained themselves and tried to attack the black hedgehog while they thought he was distracted. But before the two of them could even touch the black hedgehog, a sudden force pushed them back into the damaged buildings.

"Chaos Darkness!" a vast black colored gas began forming from the ground, covering the camp in no time at all as it spread quickly, but didn't go any further as if acted upon by containment. Fists and Knuckles awoke from their knock out, but couldn't see anything far from their eyes expect for a formless, effect less black and purple gas and parts of buildings and dead bodies. They could hear Shadow Shade walking quickly through the camp, searching for them both.

"Come out, come out wherever you are...I know you're here somewhere, echindas..." Shadow Shade turned his eye view from side to side, sensing the life energy of both echidnas to both of his sides. He reached his hands outwards towards the buildings the echindas were hiding in, and charged energy into his hands, preparing to finish them off.

"Goodbye...and thank you for having a death wish..." Fists and Knuckles watched in fear as they saw the glowing energy preparing to fire upon them. They both braced for impact, but knew they wouldn't survive.

However, a huge energy wave cut across the black hedgehog's back, cutting off his power and getting rid of the darkness that dwelled within the camp. Shadow Shade turned around in hate and anger, only to see a golden colored hedgehog with tall spikes and spines, glowing with a yellow aura. Shadow Shade reorganized him as Super Sonic. The black hedgehog grinned.

"Well...this just became more interesting,"
