Act 2: Firon vs Metal FironThis is a featured page

It was morning time, and everything was quiet and comfortable. The warmth from the sun kept the three companions sleeping around an exhausted camp fire in comfort and relaxation. Firon was the only one who began waking up from his slumber, opening his eyes slightly. His vision was blurry at first, until he finally opened his eyes fully and saw the forest clearly. He didn't move that much, for Violet had fallen asleep on his chest. He slowly picked her off of him and put her on the ground gently.

Firon sat up against a nearby tree, pulling out his mission pack and searching through it. He pulled out his two chaos emeralds and laid them in front of him, examining them. During the days before he was banished, he had learned a lot on the chaos emeralds. Each one had its own individual color, and each one was very powerful in all sorts of ways. If in the hands of an evil doer, a chaos emerald would most likely be used as the power source of an evil creation, and chaos emeralds did give off a lot of energy. Some of those with evil hearts, could use the chaos emeralds' power to destroy and kill.

However, when in the hands of a good soul, a chaos emerald could be the key to world peace, the end of wars, protection, and so on. Firon was interested in using it for good purposes, but ever since he was banished, he didn't know which side to choose. The Freedom Fighters in which he had always known for life kicked him out and turned against him, along with Violet and Fists. With Dr. Eggman and his army of robots and other creations always against any mobian, no matter what side a mobian joined.

Since Firon and his two companions were now exiled, neutral outcasts, he realized that the Great Forest wasn't exactly the safest place on Mobius. The other night when Violet was attacked by the metal spider, was only one of Eggman's hunter-series robots, that hunted in the Great Forest. However, they did not know every location in the forest, and Firon knew where to go in order to avoid them, adding somewhat more safety for him, Fists, and Violet.

Firon sighed, picking up his chaos emeralds and throwing them back into his mission pack. Before he got up though, a cold metal hand gripped his throat from the other side of the tree. Firon was stunned and shocked, pushing and getting away from the metal hand's grip, as he turned around to see what grabbed him. But what Firon saw, scared him stiff and stunned him till he couldn't even move a cell in his body.

A metal hedgehog that looked exactly like Firon in every way stood before him, its eyes glowing red, who Firon dubbed Metal Firon. Firon just stared, still stunned, as the metal copy lifted its head slightly to stare back at him. It talked in a strange computer voice, that almost sounded like Firon's voice, but in a cold and calculating way.

"Target acquired...Engaging mission to destroy target!" Metal Firon raised its hand and attempted to drive it into Firon's chest, but Firon finally broke free of his stunning moment and dodged the attacked, but was unprepared for a second attack. Another metal fist made its way towards the unsuspecting hedgehog, successfully punching him good in the face, knocking the gray hedgehog to the ground. The fighting immediately woke up Violet and Fists, who both shook their heads quickly and had shocked expressions.

"Two Firons!" Fists yelled out in a freakish manner, backing up a few steps. Violet was the most scared, her eyes widened in fear and confusion, as Metal Firon began his assault on the real Firon. As continuous punches and kicks were delivered, the gray hedgehog began suffering several wounds all over his body, blood gushing out of his nose and mouth, and from the top of his arm to the tip of his fingers.

Fists immediately jumped forward and landed on the attacking Metal Firon, punching the machine as hard and as fast as he could. However, the metal menace quickly spun around in a spin dash attack, throwing Fists against a tree. Violet was now the stunned one, as she was paralyzed with fear and was so confused on what was going on.

Firon ran up towards Metal Firon, doing a spin-tornado kick on it, but it quickly dodged his attack and repeated his attack, and annoyingly, worked against Firon himself. The badly injured hedgehog slid across the ground and rammed his head against a tree, knocking him out cold.

Fists regained himself and continued to fight, jumping and gliding over Metal Firon, kicking or punching as hard as he could before trying to avoid getting hit by the metal creation. He attempted to hit the menace a few more times, when he felt himself freeze in the air. He couldn't move anything expect his eyes and mouth, as he looked downward towards Metal Firon. It held a chaos emerald in its hand, staring its computerized red eyes at Fists.

"Chaos Control activated...preparing attack mode," Metal Firon knew Chaos Control was! The thought struck Fists like a lighting bolt as fear began to enter him. Metal Firon jumped up in a flash and struck the echidna in the back with steel-hardened kick. Fists did not move due to the Chaos Control's power effecting him, but still suffered the pain, crying out in pain with a scream.

Violet watched in horror as the metal menace continued its kicking and punching on Fists' defenseless form, adding to her fear and paralyzation. Firon laid on the ground, unable to move due to his numerous injuries and wounds. His eyes were closed and everything around him was silent. As everything seemed to slow down, and as all sound left his ears, he began to feel a presence; a very strong and powerful presence. It was chaos energy that he felt in his own two chaos emeralds, but he felt much more chaos energy then before. He soon realized how Metal Firon was so powerful, focusing on the metal menace's energy, attempting to take it and use it with his body. He could sense five other chaos emeralds in Metal Firon's chest, perhaps used as a power source and a tool for making it invincible.

Firon struggled to suck the power of the chaos emeralds away from Metal Firon, but had no trouble taking the energy from his two chaos emeralds, from inside his mission pack. Soon, he opened his eyes, the irises glowing green like before. He moved his hands slightly as he felt his injuries and wounds heal at a quick pace, allowing him to get up.

"I need...help!" Fists yelled out before suffering yet hit to the face from a metallic knee-cap. The yellow echidna was being colored red as his own blood was being beaten out of him. Fists didn't know how much he could take, but he felt like he was going to die then and there. He closed his eyes, preparing for another, and perhaps last, strike to the face as Metal Firon prepared a kick.

However, he moved forward, the Chaos Control's power deactivated, gliding into a tree, knocking him out but not killing him. Metal Firon missed clearly, landing onto the ground, looking for what interrupted his torment. It saw a levitating, fully-healed, gray hedgehog, who floated slightly off the ground. Firon had the power of all seven chaos emeralds in him, and he felt it course through his veins, into his mind and heart. He stared down at Metal Firon, grinning.

"Prepare for a major ass whopping!" Firon assured the metal creation, curling him into a ball, surrounded by his spines and spikes. He focused the energy of the seven chaos emeralds into his entire body, forcing him to stretch outward and scream out to release the power.

"Chaos Emeralds! Hear me! Give me your power! So I may destroy this evil!" With his words heard clearly, a huge white flash blinded everyone, even Metal Firon's digital eyesight. Screaming was heard by Firon, as he transformed, into the power that everyone wanted from the beginning.
